Default Cardio Training

What are most of you doing in terms of cardio to supplement your weight-lifting. My concern is a balance to keeping my heart and lungs healthy and providing me some endurance and with wearing down my muscles and such.

I have down a bit of everything in the past, but looking for some guidance.

Have you tried yoga or pilates? (I haven't, but would like to try them--just don't know which video is best.) I like doing Billy Blank's Tae Bo (the Get Ripped series is the best for endurance, IMHO). He incorporates some wicked moves for endurance during his workouts, like staying in a squat position for 2+ minutes and holding a leg lift. And running is always a good one for endurance and health.

Yeah I have done pilates for a while, but does not really get the heart racing. It is good for stretching and limbering up and getting your core stronger, but does not really tax the lungs at all.

I did this aerobic kickboxing class and let me tell you if really got my heart racing. It was constant movement for an hour and ten. Running also works for me.

I am really getting into biking lately, which is sort of a nice change from the running. We've been going down to the beach area where there is an excellent bike path, and we've been doing this at least 3 times a week. We're going about 15 to 18 minutes per trip and really feel great afterwards!

Biking sounds like a great way to get some cardio activity. It is like a miniature leg workout in itself, and it provides great endurance!

I live in a fairly scenic area, so I like to go for a run before every workout. It gives me a chance to see all of my neighbors, get some fresh air (I work from home so I don't get the chance to commute).
