That's funny, because I do it for the exact opposite reason. I'd rather do cardio all day, but maybe that will change as I get more ripped.

I hate cardio. I can barely stay on an eliptical for 30 minutes, the joys of ADD :-)

But weights are a bit more painful so I push myself for the extra 10 minutes always.

Yea, I totally can't do both lifting and cardio at the same workout. Either one takes away way too much energy away from me to want to do the other task.

my opinion is that cardio should be done after the weights.when you do the lifting you do somethimg that is called anaerobic movement.these types of movements exhaust your body's supply of glycogen(glygogen is a form of sugar that is deposited in the muscles and liver).if you do this, and there is no mre sugar left in you, when you do the cardio(aerobic exercise)the only energy will come from the fatty tissue.makes sense doesn't it?
i always do the cardio after the weights or in different days

i also do cardio in the morning and the lifting in the evening.the reason that i do the cardio in the morning is because i have read in many different sources that it helps a lot to do the cardio on an empty stomach,so you make sure that you are burning fat not the last meal

I do my cardio directly before my workout. It's a great way to get warmed up and more limber.

Why not before AND after?!?! It seems like a great way to both warm up and cool down. And if you're going for weight loss, the more cardio the better.

I suggest cutting everything out from your diet. And I mean everything. Your body will start to digest itself, and you'll lose that extra chub in no time at all.

I like to intersperse cardio with my workout. In between big sets, I'll run on the treadmill for 5 minutes or whatever. If I do a long cardio session, it usually happens before.

I do my cardio after my workout. Since I swim, it gives me a chance to cool down after a tough workout. Of course I shower first so I don't sweat into the pool. What do you think I am, disgusting?
