Default Bulking up...

Hi so I am new here. I am also just trying to get started on weight lifting....nothing major. I decided instead of slimming down, i would like to bulk up. Not like Major bulk up but about the size of a College Football Linebacker. I work 3rd shift for BMW so I really don't have the time to join up with a Gym, I want to but just don't have the time. I believe I can better benefit myself doing this at home when i get off work. But technique is my biggest concern. So is there some kind of DVD or Book that could help me out? Something that will help Arms, chest and stomach? I guess basically a Work out dvd that isn't girly, something with beginner weight lifting to pro with some added chest and stomach stuff.
