Hmm, I too haven't seen them in stores for a while. I suggest looking on ebay or an online store, as long as you don't need a huge amount of them. Shipping shouldn't be too high.
A chicken weighs roughly 1 pound. I suggest using a small amount of rope to attach a chicken to your weights. Don't worry, just because it flaps doesn't mean the weight will decrease!
Yes, like a few of you have mentioned, I sometimes just tape a small object to the weights. However, I've never had the luxury of a live chicken! I can only imagine how amazing that must feel!
I saw some of those at my weight store last time I was there. Maybe I could pick up a few for you, and mail them to you? PM me if you can't find them anywhere else.
Oh yeah, and whats up with that guy saying you should tie a chicken to your weights? Is that some kind of joke? I don't think most of us have chickens.

I think I'll probably take you up on this, if you're still offering. I'll PM you my address, just let me know how much I need to pay you and your Paypal address.

Joke or not, the thought of tying a chicken to a weight definitely brightened my day. I dunno, maybe I should report myself to PETA. Senseless chicken abuse!
Anyone know if 1 lb add-ons (they stick to metal dumbbells & plates) are still available? I haven't seen any in the stores near me.
Hi Danielle,
I've seen the 1-pound add-ons at one of our local sporting good stores. I guess you would just have to check out the stores close to you. Otherwise, eBay is always a good bet.
